What new games did you find under your Christmas tree?

As mentioned in my updated list, I/we got Takenoko, TTR: Nordic and Zombie Fluxx - pretty pleased with that haul. I almost bought myself Robinson Crusoe, it looks great and I'd definitely be up for playing it soon.

I'll bring it along on Tuesday (pending permission to attend) now that I've figured out how to play it!

It looks like a particularly brutal game with a very low chance of success. Just when you've finally built a shelter and found enough food to feed the camp, it starts snowing, your shelter falls down, your food goes bad and a tiger wanders into camp. Happy times!

Dice Duel looks awesome, I'd like to get a 4 vs 4 player game of that going sometime. Maybe not next week as everyone else has great games too!

I'm also keen to see how Crusoe compares to Castaways and how Exodus compares to Eclipse (I've been umming and arring over Exodus/Empires of the Void for a while now). Firefly, Takenoko, Escape, Whitechapel also all great looking games I've not played!

Takenoko is great, I got a copy of that a bit before Christmas. Its very lightweight but fun.

7 Wonders is a fabulous game, really enjoyed the handful of games I've had of it.

I wasn't too impressed with Space Cadets (based on the SU+SD Plays! ep) but the Dice duel one looks interesting, definitely up for giving that a spin sometime!

Argh! More games I need in my collection!
I really enjoyed 7 wonders (despite losing miserably due to not really understanding what I doing), I like the look of Kemet ( as well as Cyclades and the C2K mash up expansion), Jamaica's been on my list for a long time and Space Cadets does look like it will be fun.

I will bring Crusoe along on Tuesday, Exodus may be a bit long for an evening session though.

I'm really pleased I got Lords of Waterdeep as it turns out my wife really likes it (she's wiped the floor with me everytime we've played!!)... I'd like to get my head around Puerto Rico a bit more If anyone fancies giving that a go with me sometime...??

3 Great games, Evan - I have them all already so no game envy/angst on this occasion!

Aneurin - PitchCar is great fun and I love Zombicide (though I've managed so far to avoid the lure of the expansions)... They're not must have, are they? I've never heard of the third one... and I'm not going to court temptation by looking it up!

I got Tsuro of the Seas and expansion, and India/Switzerland ticket to ride.
