Ah. In that case Kes needs to check if he thinks he'll like it because 3 hours of whinging would just about break me...

It's sort of a cross between a worker placement and a territory control game. There are many, many things you can do on a given turn so I suspect it could suffer from AP a bit... However, the player mats are really nicely designed so, although there's a lot going on, the game does as much as it can to make all your choices clear. Shut Up & Sit Down did a good review of it recently if anyone wants to check it out.

I got very confused by it cos I wasn't listening when it was explained to me
But I think if Paul explains the end of game bonuses well then it kind of helps inform strategies a lot as we were all pretty close until the end and then the two people who'd played before leaped ahead

What did I miss last night? 5 hours sleep and an 11 hour working day didn't put me in a gaming mood!

It was pretty quiet Aneurin; only 3 tables in use. I got Giants played and then we played Shadow Hunters. Some others played Power Grid, I think for most of the night. And another group played Dominion/Hanabi/Love letter/No Thanks. That's about it.

I'm a no for tonight. Bunnies will be sulking in hutch all day with this weather so will stay home and let them stretch paws inside. Paulyg is all yours though
