I'm staying well away from Wayland... really bad experience with a pre-order.

No problems with Wayland for this order. Despite UKFail's best efforts to mess up delivery, the Tantive arrived this afternoon. Very speedy dispatch.

Yeah. When we arrived, we were the only people. They did some quick recruiting and got a couple people that had hardly played before and we both just destroyed them. Lizzy won our game and won the "tournament".

Yeah, I can't say it's a win I'm particularly proud of. It was more embarrassing than anything. Including my "win" against Kes, which was just stupid. I rolled so well, and him so badly, that he only managed to take one shield off me before I annhiliated him; equalling the damage I gave myself crashing into an asteroid.

Just embarrassing.

X-Wing collections - Page 5 Empty SUPER NECRO!!

Post  Ste Tue 28 Feb 2017, 09:30

Sorry to necro this thread but found it in the most active topic list on the right and couldn't resist reading through.

Would love to know how all your collections are doing now, nearly 3 years later!

I've got the following:

Core x 1 (Original)
Expansions:
1 each of the following in wave order:
Rebel: T-65 X-Wing, Y-Wing, Falcon, A-Wing, HWK-290, B-Wing, E-Wing, K-Wing, T-70 X-Wing
Imperial: TIE Fighter, Slave I, TIE Interceptor, TIE Bomber, TIE Defender, TIE Phantom, Inquisitor's TIE
Scum: Most Wanted Pack, Star Viper, Punishing One, Shadowcaster
Ace Packs: Imperial Aces, Rebel Aces, Imperial Veterans, Heroes of the Resistance.

There are some significant holes in my collection and will look into filling them once I've finally moved house...

I ended up cashing out - just wasn't getting it to the table much at all.

I have nothing, NOTHING!

I'm something of a completionist, so would have had to buy everything. Instead, I got out while I still could! Smile

I feel your pain! It makes my eyes itch when I look at the wave list and I see that I'm one ship off a full wave. Wave 1 for example, I've been holding off getting the Advanced TIE until I get hold of the cards from the Raider (under advice from Liz) but think I'll just end up grabbing it.

I kind of gave up in 2015/16. 2 reasons... 1 - Imperial Assault & 2 - When they started delving into Scum ships and it drifted away from the feel of the old Tie-fighter / X-wing PC games (imo)... (I'd still like to see Tau Gunboats over some random EU ship)...

As such my collection stagnated at

Core x 2 (Original)
1 * T-65 X-Wing,
1 * Y-Wing,
1 * Millennium Falcon,
2 * A-Wing
1 * B-Wing
1 * E-Wing,
1* TIE Fighter,
1 * TIE Advanced
1* Slave I,
1 * TIE Interceptor,
2 * TIE Bomber
1 * TIE Defender,
1 * TIE Phantom
1 * Imperial Aces
1 * Rebel Aces

I really wanted to get the upgrade to the TIE advanced (loved that ship)... but couldn't justify the Raider cost.
