I'm thinking of buying tickets for this soonish - I'm going to go for 2 days this year, but I'm undecided whether to go Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday... has anyone else had any thoughts on this??? Shocked

I usually go for the whole weekend. Friday is quite quiet and a good chance to RPG as there is no trade hall. I also like Sunday to see what wins the various awards and the last minute clearance deals in trade!

I've been super organised this year and already got tickets (and hotel) booked! I'm driving down on the Friday morning first thing (with Kat following by train after work in the evening) and will be driving back mid-afternoon on the Sunday. So I will have 3 spaces in the car on the Friday morning, 2 on the Sunday afternoon if anyone needs a lift...

Also, I think for 2015 they're also going to have the trade halls open on the Friday so it will be more of a "full" day.

Definitely going for the whole thing but haven't booked yet. I'll probably spend the Saturday playing in the xwing tournament

I've booked the hotel for the whole weekend but not bought entry tickets yet.

Dunno if I'll bother with the x-wing tournament, depends how much it is really.

Ok so I stopped being lazy and checked the expo site and yes I'm at a conference that last weekend in May! Gutted! There is a small chance my abstract will be rejected... Is that the wrong thing to hope for?

We're (my wife, nephew and I) are going along for the full thing - heading down Friday afternoon and coming back home sometime Sunday.

At a guess one of the days we'll be looking to annexe a table and play games all day Smile

I'll probably do another batch of clothing before this so those who want to represent at the expo have the opportunity. Seems like there is already a heavy crossover between attendees and clothing purchasers though.

Looks like I lied about having tickets as they're not on sale until later this month... Thought I had sorted everything but must have just been the hotel booking!

If I go it will be for just one day and will mostly just be an excuse to play games all day, I'm on a strict budget this year!

What you saving up for? I might unfollow this thread - I'm getting very jealous that work is taking me away from the gaming goodness...

Look on the bright side, if you have any shopping requests there are plenty of people that might be willing to help fulfil them Smile

Find people going on holiday to Orlando, convince them to drive a few miles north to Cool Stuff Inc., then have them collect and personally deliver your pre-ordered boxes of fun.
