Hi everyone i have recently moved to chesterfield from sussex,and would love to come along and play some games and meet people, problem is im not driving at the moment.
I just wondered if any members lived near me so i could grab a lift, i would pay petrol money.

Would the train and tram be an option? The University arms isn't far from the University tram stop...

Hi the train and tram would probably be ok, the main problem is getting home.
It would take prob about 90 mins to get home so i would have to leave early.

You should set up the Chesterfield Board Games Club, preferably on a Thursday night. I'm south of Sheffield, so I'd come! Smile

I know a couple of people who go to this club in Chesterfield:

They're mostly a roleplaying club, but every few weeks they do a board games evening. The people I know who go are very friendly!

There’s COGS in Chesterfield - http://www.c-o-g-s.org.uk which is mainly board games with a few war gamers. They’re on Facebook as well.
I go there regularly. The group meets every Monday and the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays.
