Twilight Imperium 4 incoming

So I've sorted my pre-order for TI4 and its on the way! Exciting. Sure Paul and I will be organising the winter 2017 game before too long! It's now only a 6 player game (until the inevitable expansion!)...

So will be offering seats to established players... but anyone else interested in trying the new stream lined version let us know here...

Wouldn't mind giving this a whirl, at some point, if and when there's a seat available. Any idea how much of an impact base game with only 6 players will have on play time? Much shorter?

It'll be slightly shorter but still between 6-8 hours I believe. The balance works quite well...

The two strategy cards not chosen get a bonus on them... these can build up if a card isn't picked for multiple rounds. Makes them more desirable.

The base game also removes distant suns - so that should speed up setup and general planetary invasion in the early game...
