Roll With It 2018

Can I just check who is able to make the event?

With a week to go and volunteers are dropping.. I just need confirmation of who will definitely be there? As I’m unsure whether I need to pull the event.

Also can you tell me what games you’re planning on bringing, so we don’t double up?

We’re down to 11 volunteers.

I know that may seem a few, but previous years we’ve had 20.
I may need to ask if you are able to try and get multiple games going at once if that’s okay..?

I was planning on doing the X-Wing tournament, but I'm happy to help demo if you need help.

I can do any of:

I can still make it Rob, but I won't be able to get there until around 1. Is that okay?

Also, I can ask a friend of mine who's a board gamer, if he'd like to volunteer demoing games (if he can make it, he'd probably demo Catan, Coup, Exploding Kittens).

For me:

Avalon
Resistance
Secret Hitler
Two Rooms and a Boom (needs a big group, but a lot of fun)
Other assorted games along the same lines of the above 3.
Can also bring Spheres of Influence (it's a risk-like).

I have other games too; just wondering what would go down well, I'm guessing nothing too heavy?

We're planning on bringing mainly small quickish games. On the list so far:

Probably there'll be a few more. If we focus on getting people started on games and then leaving them to it then we could certainly cover several tables.

Tom Polly Jamie and Samuel, thank you for confirming that’s awesome. I just need to hear from PaulC, i’ve PM’d him but not had a response yet, so if any of you are in contact with him, can you please try and find out too.

Lizzie, I want you to still enter the X-Wing tournament. I’ve managed to get a few more volunteers on board so we’re now up to 15 assuming PaulC is still in.

The games we have being demo’d include;
Avalon, Resistance, Secret Hitler, 2 Rooms and a Boom, Spheres of Influence, Hive, 8 Minute Empires, Onitama, Roll Through The Ages, Tsuro, Deep Sea Adventure, Cockroach Poker, Pitch Car, River Dragons, Junk Art, Kingdomino, Century: Spice Road, NMBR 9, Barenpark, Survive: Escape from Atlantis, Celestia, Kerala, Carcassonne, Timeline, Terraforming Mars, Roll For the Galaxy, Smallworld, Monkey Butt, Command and Colours, Dark Souls, Zombicide, Guild Ball, Mad Max, and an aerial combat game that I don’t know the name of.
Ross Graham is demoing for Esdevium Games and has a whole range of games he will be demonstrating.
I’m also gonna be bringing Castle Panic, Fluxx, Blokus and Formula D.
