Hard Core Gamers Required

Hi All

There's a few of us who play board games regularly outside of the Tuesday night sessions and we're looking for some extra dedicated, well, nutters who might be interested in all-day sessions at weekends.

We try to play occasionally, say once every few months, and book aside a whole Saturday or Sunday to play long & complicated games that require a lot of players and dedication.

I'm talking about games like Civilization (1980s version), Twilight Imperium, Virgin Queen etc.  Our core group nowadays is only ~4 players who can commit the time and who probably don't have family/toddler/work hassles to juggle with.

Is anyone interested in these sorts of games and can definitely commit to dates?  We are trying to get six players for Virgin Queen at the moment and it is proving difficult.  So what better way to ask for fresh blood than via this forum!

These are my favourite type of games. I'm new to the group but would be up for some epicness. I can commit to dates as long as i have a week or two's notice.
