Sunday Session 7th June @ The Red Deer

Room is booked from 12 for the whole day as usual.

I won't be at this one as I'll be on holiday. Have fun without me!

Does anyone have Shadow Hunters or Splendour to bring?

Or the Traders and Barbarians expansion to Catan to bring?

I've got a softball tournament Saturday so I'll be broken and groaning.....

I'll be doing a long run on Sunday in the morning; so will need to go home, shower, grab a bite to eat. I'll make it to the Red Deer just before 2:00pm, like 10 to or something.

Is anyone going who doesn't want to play diplomacy? Or should I just sign up

It does sound potentially amazing, and I think I have to try it once, but I'm not eager enough to take up a space for a six hour game when I don't know how much I'll like it, especially when there might be newer and shinier things to play I'll pass this time. Thanks though.

How easy will it be to negotiate in one-on-one in the Red Deer? Are people going to have two or three groups going off to couch in corners and whisper to each other? Or rendezvous in the toilets?

Hi Sam,

We'll need to start at 2 (someone else needs to leave about 7:15). There's a diplomacy phase, most turns, where people may want to discuss plans without being overheard (not me I might add, I'm completely trustworthy), so I envision people sneaking off to the bar together, or quiet chats in the far corner of the room...

I don't know though; this will be the first time I've played it myself. Really looking forward to it...

Jamie - I assume you have a copy or a print n play? Do you need anything else as I can bring some of mine if needed.

Hi Matt. No, I don't have anything. Paul has offered to bring his copy of the game. You're welcome to bring yours too (just incase he forgets). I can also print some maps and stuff out, if we need anything extra.

Ah no problems.

I'll bring a bag of stuff along and we can use whatever we need. I printed and played before I eventually bought the game. I'm not even sure if I've ever punched the game out to be honest!

Would anyone like to play Fire in the Lake? It needs four players and a similar unmber of hours.
