Selling games to buy games

For many years I was an avid video gamer and amassed a very substantial collection over time. But since last year when I really started focusing on the development of Path to Panic, the majority of my spare time is devoted to working on it. And when I need to unwind, I prefer to play board games now. I just wish I'd known about the great board gaming hobby sooner....

Anyway, there are a ton of board games I would like to own, so I'm thinking to sell off a large part of my video game collection to try and fund a tapletop spending spree. I just thought I'd initially put some feelers out to SBGC to see if anyone would be interested in purchasing any of my games, before going to the trouble of actually collating and listing them all.

Most of my games are for the N64, GameCube, Wii, DS, Playstation, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. If any of these sound of interest to anyone, please let me know and I'll draw up a list of exactly what I have for sale.

I'd be interested in any N64 games you have Andy.

My nephews may be interested in Wii games, Andy, if you can post the list please.

I'm looking to perhaps pick up an XBOX 360, kinect and some games. So could be interested in anything along those lines.

Don't know if I'll but anything but I'm curious to see what you have.

I've now made said purchase. An xbox is winging it's way to me with, apparently, 17 games. I suspect some are on disk, some downloaded, but then I'm not sure if it has a hard drive so who knows! Gotta love ebay. No idea if it has any games I want, e.g. Halo. (Halo is in fact the single largest reason I didn't get a PS3!)

Is there a list?

I too am wanting to get rid of a few games (and their consoles) for xbox and wii, but don't want to tread on any toes here

I was looking at getting a 3DS for Monster hunter, If you or anyone has one they are looking to shift.

Rik: I went to look at the N64 games I have left and didn't realize just how many I'd already sold off. The only game I have left which I don't want to keep is Wetrix (boxed with manual, very good condition). PM me if you're interested.

Karl: I'm in a similar situation with Wii games as N64. I have far fewer left than I thought and most of what I do have left, I want to keep. I'll try to put together the short list of stuff I do have for sale this coming weekend.

Psy Sam: Did you get an Xbox or an Xbox 360? I have multiple games for both of these. If you're still interested, let me know and I'll put a list up.

John: Feel free to add your games for sale to this thread, or perhaps someone can make a folder similar to the Board Games for Sale and we can have individual threads. No need to worry about tread-upon toes.

The only console I have for sale is an original Xbox, by the way. Other than that, it's just games.

Wow, I was just talking about Wetrix the other day - awesome!! Don't have an N64 though sadly.

I've got an xbox 360 on the way, so certainly anything for that would be good to see a list. Though I suspect it's also backwards compatible?

I've already got Wetrix, thanks Andy! I'm on the lookout for Doom 64, I'm going to a retro games sale in two weeks, I might find a copy there.
