Tuesday 6th September
Crikey! September already!
I'll be playing Dead of Winter: The Long Night with DaveB, just like regular Dead of Winter, but with added bandits and zombified genetic experiments. What could go wrong? Join us...

Anyone fancy playing Trickerion? It's a rather nice worker placement game about being magicians.

Re: Tuesday 6th September
Pauly G is kindly going to let Sam and I play Mare Nostrum. We played it this evening and we're keen to give it another go. Terrific area control game, neither overly complicated nor long but with lots of strategy.
It plays 5:
1. Karl
2. Sam
3. Kes (possibly red)
4. Liz
5. Rich

I'll play Mare Nostrum as well please. Are we gonna play with the expansion?

Re: Tuesday 6th September
I think I'd rather just play the base game again.
Kes - I think the only fair way to determine colours/empires is by random choice!!

Re: Tuesday 6th September
The expansion is modular. You can add the 6th faction (Atlanteans) which also adds a few different heroes into the mix, but no new rules, without bothering with the rest if you want.Lizzy wrote:I'll play Mare Nostrum as well please. Are we gonna play with the expansion?
The other modules of the expansion relate to the legendary cities and add more rules (cards, mythical creatures, etc.)

Re: Tuesday 6th September
If there's still space in Mare Nostrum, I'd like to give it a go. I've been interested in that game since its first edition but never had the chance to try it. I can read the rules in advance if that helps.
Cheers,
Rich

Re: Tuesday 6th September
Debbie & I will probably be along. We'll bring Thunder Alley if anyone fancies a spot of Nascar & probably Las Vegas for those who like rolling lots of dice. Other than that we're happy to make up numbers.

Re: Tuesday 6th September
Secret Hitler just arrived... so I'll be bringing that down tonight for some after Dead of Winter action
Re: Tuesday 6th September
Ok Dale - that's great, have you played before? There is one track that is better for new players is the only reason for asking.
Thunder Alley works fine with 4 or 5 if anyone else is interested.

Been wanting to try that, definitely up for it assuming DoW doesn't finish too late!
