So has anyone played Dune? Anyone interested? I recently got hold of an original copy - from 1979 - in very good condition. Quite keen to get a game in at some point, perhaps next time I can make a Tuesday.

It shows one of the pnp versions that have been designed. Won't need that, but I suspect I might want to take advantage of a fan-edition pnp rulebook and some player aids.

I traded it for my copy of Smallworld with multiple expansions. A very good deal considering rarity, and looking forward to playing on the original board for the sake of the history. I suspect some of the modern print & plays done to a high standard could provide better components - though this would also be rather expensive.
