Library updates

The club picked up a few games at the UK Games Expo Bring & Buy to add to the club collection:

King of Tokyo + Power Up expansion
Splendor
Escape from the Aliens in Outer Space

We thought that the library would benefit from a couple more entry level games and was missing a good hidden role game too.

Now that these have had time to settle in, I can confirm that they were great purchases, probably the most played club games of the year.

I reckon we could still do with our own copy of The Resistance/Avalon. Used to be there was always a member's copy kicking around, but I've been recently when there has been interest in a game, but no game. It being a later evening sort of thing, it also makes sense having a copy that stays at the club ie. that doesn't rely on the right people staying late.

Any other plans or thoughts for new club games? Are there any gaps in the selection?

Someone pointed out there are no cooperative games so we've sorted out a copy of pandemic which will turn up at some point as well as LotR co op game

We've picked up a copy of Avalon for the club library, should arrive for oxt Tuesday.
