It's a family friendly event. The place lets dogs in as well but double check if you are bringing one.

"New venue for our all day board gaming event. Canero Lounge is a wonderful space in the centre of Derby. The event will be free. There will be a suggested donations bucket. There will be a games library again we are going to ask for a £1 donation to borrow a game. There will be a bring and buy, raffle and possibly a quiz. All money raised will go to Derby Kids Camp. This is a family and new player friendly event. If you are new to modern board games we will do our best to find you a game that you will enjoy, if possible others to play with and might even explain how to play. This is a bar and cafe so there is great food and drink. A reminder that if you attend you can only eat and drink what has been purchased at the venue. We will be upstairs which can hold about 100 people. I have put the finish time as 11pm but that will be probably the absolute latest."
