Tuesday 18th May - University Arms at 7PM
We are back! I've spoken to David at the Uni Arms and they re-open Monday 17th for indoors. There are a few rules we need to follow to ensure everyone's safety -
Max 6 people to a table.
Please don't move the tables around.
Once you are seated at a table, you may not move to another table.
Masks must be worn when entering and moving around the venue i.e. toilets. Masks can be taken off while seated.
Track and trace must be done by each person when they enter the venue via the track and trace app by scanning their QR code.
Please do not attend if you have any symptoms, or if you feel unwell.
We will be upstairs as usual in the main room. Table service will be provided for drinks and food.
As before, if you want to organise games and tables please use the forums here to do so.
See you all soon!

I'm definitely looking forward to getting back to gaming, but personally I'm not planning to attend until I'm vaccinated. I think the government has proven over the past three waves that it's a poor judge of when it's safe to reopen.

Yay! Hopefully Zoe and I should be there.
Really missed the weekly sessions, Tuesday nights just haven't been the same.

Well, since I just got an appointment and the Pfizer vaccine is 92.6% effective by two weeks after the first dose*, I might be showing up earlier than I expected.

Assuming I get a clear lateral flow test that morning I'm planning on being there. It will be good to see actual people again.

Fingers crossed it goes well, be good to see you.
Re: Tuesday 18th May - University Arms at 7PM
I'm getting my second shot later today, however I won't be along just yet (not for any nefarious reasons, can finally go visit my family so we're heading down that week). Hope first one goes well and I'll see you soon hopefully!

I'm planning on coming. It's going to be weird actually playing actual games with actual people.

Think we're not going to make it now, Zoe's understandably a little worried about the whole thing and doesn't want to risk anything. I will hopefully make it to the one after though, looking forward to playing at the club again! Hope it goes well - post on here afterwards to let us know how it was!
Also, my phone is a little old now, so doesn't support the track and trace app - will there be an alternative track and trace method for those who can't scan the qr code via the app? I'd hate to miss out just because of that!

That's understandable, I think a few people will feel the same way and probably won't quite be ready to return yet. I'm not sure what other options are available for track and trace, I will ask when I go next week.

What games are people planning on playing? Please don't say 'Pandemic'!

In theory , you should be able to leave name/address/contact details if you dont have the app. Hopefully the uni arms will be doing this. As they are required to, for those that dont have the app.

Awesome, hopefully see you tonight!
Re: Tuesday 18th May - University Arms at 7PM
I'm still planning on coming. I'm having my second vaccine jab this afternoon but I don't think that'll stop me.
Games I'm thinking of bringing: Mysterium Park, Azul Summer Pavilion, Codenames, Skull.
