I'll be along. I'll be bringing Smash Up in the hopes of a fresh take on the game while my mind isn't blown from the soul-destroyingly long game of Carcassonne

I'll be there, hopefully not falling asleep this time. Anyone interested in Spartacus, zombicide or LotR card game? I haven't played it with 4 but it should be pretty easy

I've enjoyed the couple of games of Zombicide I've played so far - I'd be interested in another spin around the block with that.

I'll be down about 7:30 with the club's copy of CO2 which I've played solitaire and think would be worth a bash, albeit with a learning curve.

Other than that, I'll stick a couple of things in the bag but not fussy.

Can't make it this week as I'm working. I'll ask them if I can avoid Tuesday evenings in the future and I don't think they'll have a problem with it, but I didn't think about it until today so I'll suffer this time. Do try and have fun without me, all

Jeez, I think the last time I won a game alone (ie. not including joint wins, co-op or team games) was a Ticket to Ride against Karl, James, Dan and Joel the second week I was there. In other words, I suck at games and anyone who has played a game against me and let me within a mile of the winners podium ought to be embarrassed. Maybe.

I might have won Galaxy Trucker...? That was a cool game. Both that and Spatacus have really well integrated themes. Take, say Cosmic Encounter: you have the cool spaceship models and the alien illustrations and the hypergate cutout and so on, but mostly the game revolves around playing abstract cards which don't really make sense in the game world. I attack you with 5 ships... and 15. 15 what? 15 card power? What does that represent? I can only choose to negotiate if I happen to have drawn an N card? Pourquoi? That is the one thing that didn't sit well with me, because in terms of mechanics I enjoyed the heck out of that game. We'll have to play that again sometime.

Bah. Got to work late tonight. I WILL be there next week.  

We'll be along about 7. I've brought Robo Rally, since Kes asked about it, and Finca. Finca's really underrated; it's a neat game that takes under an hour. It's simple to explain, but has a lot of depth and the cutest fruit meeples.

That said I'm up for any of CO2, Spartacus or Smash Up.
