(just to please Cal) Be my usual 8.30pm start though. I'll bring Braggart again as that worked well last time I made it. Also have Batavia to try. It's still shrink wrapped. Any other requests?

Doubt starting at 8.30pm I'll be able to join in BSG...

I started reading the rules to BSG but felt a bit bogged down with it, anyone going to be there from 7 who is confident of the rules? If not I'll try to re-read them this weekend.

BSG is pretty simple once you start playing. I know how to play obviously but then I'm not down till 8.30pm.

Yeah, I guess most games are pretty simple, its just hard to figure everything out without sitting down to play it. And I think I'd had a couple of beers when I tried to read it which wouldn't have helped.

I'll be there at 7 and have played BSG a fair few times so I can remember the rules, mostly. I think the biggest thing to remember is when you get the cards saying if you're a cylon, everyone has to pretend to read the card otherwise its easy to see who just glanced at it and the cylons reading their special ability!!

That's good because I didn't get chance to re-read the rules.

I always get that problem when playing games, like the development cards in Settlers of Catan, its always obvious when its not a knight because whoever it is ends up reading the card.

Shows the last time I played... but...

I don't think the Cylon cards have a special ability... it just has extra text to detail what to do when you 'out' yourself as a Cylon (which is your choice - maybe when in the Brig or you are close to winning etc). So there is no need to read them as you get! Ignore the text!

Still coming down tonight and will be bringing my Brother-in-law Ian... see if we can't corrupt him. Should eb there for the usual 8.30pm so save us a space if a game is starting around that time!
