Room is booked from 12 for the whole day as usual.
I won't be at this one as I'll be on holiday. Have fun without me!

Will bring chocolate. Lots of chocolate from 4:30pm onwards until we get kicked out.
The Post title says it all.
Does anyone have Shadow Hunters or Splendour to bring?
Or the Traders and Barbarians expansion to Catan to bring?

I'll be doing a long run on Sunday in the morning; so will need to go home, shower, grab a bite to eat. I'll make it to the Red Deer just before 2:00pm, like 10 to or something.
Re: Sunday Session 7th June @ The Red Deer
Is anyone going who doesn't want to play diplomacy? Or should I just sign up
Re: Sunday Session 7th June @ The Red Deer
I'll be there by 2 for diplomacy. Sorry Kes.

I'm going, but I kind of want to play Diplomacy... Any other games in mind, Kes?

Some people are too popular.
I'll bring a 8-minute empire and love letter to fill any gaps or for a quick break from diplomacy....

First of all, what time are you hoping to start? I'll be there around 3, I think.
How long do we think this will take?
It does sound potentially amazing, and I think I have to try it once, but I'm not eager enough to take up a space for a six hour game when I don't know how much I'll like it, especially when there might be newer and shinier things to play I'll pass this time. Thanks though.
How easy will it be to negotiate in one-on-one in the Red Deer? Are people going to have two or three groups going off to couch in corners and whisper to each other? Or rendezvous in the toilets?

Hi Sam,
We'll need to start at 2 (someone else needs to leave about 7:15). There's a diplomacy phase, most turns, where people may want to discuss plans without being overheard (not me I might add, I'm completely trustworthy), so I envision people sneaking off to the bar together, or quiet chats in the far corner of the room...
I don't know though; this will be the first time I've played it myself. Really looking forward to it...
Still have a slot open for Diplomacy; any takers?

Hi Matt. No, I don't have anything. Paul has offered to bring his copy of the game. You're welcome to bring yours too (just incase he forgets). I can also print some maps and stuff out, if we need anything extra.
Re: Sunday Session 7th June @ The Red Deer
Ah no problems.
I'll bring a bag of stuff along and we can use whatever we need. I printed and played before I eventually bought the game. I'm not even sure if I've ever punched the game out to be honest!
I'll bring a stack of paper and pens as well - always useful when sorting out turns and what actually occurs.

Would anyone like to play Fire in the Lake? It needs four players and a similar unmber of hours.
I think there are two spaces available..

Thanks Matt.
We just need one more player now. Anyone else want to play Diplomacy?
