Me, Clive and Simon are free this Friday evening for gaming in Mr Ward's shed. Anyone else interested?

How was the game of Empires last week?

There were only me, Clive & Craig so we played Rise of Empires instead of Struggle. It was very good, a nice close game and hugely enjoyable. I thought I had the game sewn up after Era II with my global aggressive territorial gains, but Craig's Religion AND Ideology in Era III scooped up enough points to win. Armies can't beat Jesus+Lenin :-)

We must try Rise with 4-5 players - it can definitely be done on a Tuesday evening as it is shorter than Struggle. I'll bring it along in Jan.
