That's 2 of us so far, 3 if Scott can make it. I guess we have space for one more, which would guarantee a 3 or 4 player game. If Scott can't make it, and we don't find another player; we can still do a 2 player game; I've never tried 2 player eclipse before, but by all accounts it still works pretty well with 2 players...

2 player eclipse isn't so bad, but in my experience it turns into a suspense filled arms race for most of the game ending in a massive brawl for the last couple of turns. 0 diplomacy as you can imagine. Also, no descendants or plant people allowed, which is a shame, as I love me some descendants.

Good point re: Descendants and Planta! How about the new races from Rise of the Ancients, they're allowed, I haven't played one yet, so will be good to give the Magellan Rho Indi a whirl.

Maybe Scott will turn up though, so 3 or even 4 players, could be on the cards...

Still hoping to turn up, but as I've mentioned I probably wont know until Saturday evening sadly... what time are you thinking of starting Eclipse, cant wait to play again

Just a quick update on Eclipse...

We'll start at 3pm ... unless that's really problematic for anyone? (for me, I can't get there super early, as I'll be doing a long run in the morning).

Tom said he'll probably join us; so that makes a potential 3 or even 4 players (if Scott can make it too).

Confirming I'll be there by 15:00 for Eclipse.

I'm not coming now - I'm helping Jeff (the owner of the Redhouse) out of a hole. He needs help decorating the upstairs at the Redhouse so the brewery don't screw him over before he sells up. Painting walls and doors etc. many hands make light work so if anyone else is free afternoon and evening to help out a guy in need - come along and help.

He's housed the club for around 3 years now without charging us a dime... End of an era.

Hope everyone enjoyed Eclipse! It was a very close thing in the end with scores of 41,40, and 37; don't think I've ever seen it that close! Really enjoyed playing, thanks chaps.

Absolutely awesome 6 player game of Avalon after, with the following roles (in clockwise seating position starting with myself):

Merlin [Jamie]
Generic Good [Owen]
Generic Good [Nicole]
Mordred [Sam] - Mordred is unknown to Merlin and also doubled as the Assassin.
Morgana [Tom]
Percival [Andy]

This was a great 6 player role-set. We must have been playing for 90 minutes. Awesome game. Went to the 5th mission, then to the assassination! Luckily Sam shot Nicole! *mwhahahaha*
