Tuesday 21st June
Keen to play people's Expo purchases. I'll be bringing Baseball Highlights 2045 (did someone ask about this last session - Sam?) and Ominoes.

I'm free this Tuesday now so we can do Compounded if you want John, PaulC, Paulyg? Otherwise I'll bring some other new games. Knit Wit and Karuba probably

I've promised DaveB I will play Panamax with him... how long does Compounded take?

Re: Tuesday 21st June
I'm hoping to be playing Food Chain Magnate... so not sure if I'll have time for Compounded as well. But no need to wait on me!
Compounded takes roughly an hour (but make sure you've popped it all in advance as there's loads of stickers to stick onto discs).

Re: Tuesday 21st June
I have popped it out, but let's leave it till the week after as planned. Is there any space on Food Chain Magnate? Been wanting to try that

It's Meurig's game - I think potentially a spot as three of us so far but I'll let him answerLizzy wrote:I have popped it out, but let's leave it till the week after as planned. Is there any space on Food Chain Magnate? Been wanting to try that
Re: Tuesday 21st June
Yep, that's fine Lizzy. FCM plays up to five but it has a variable game length mechanic and has the potential to be a fairly long game so I think capping it at four for now is a good idea. BeardyTom expressed an interest in my collection thread, so if he wants in we're full:
1) Meurig
2) PaulyG
3) Lizzy
4) BeardyTom?
I'll try to get there as early as possible but as I work outside in all mud and that I need to get home and have a shower before I can come out to play. So if I'm a few minutes after seven if one of you could grab us a table that would be great. Set up shouldn't take very long because I've put it all away in a good order.

I don't believe Tom's going to be able to make it on Tuesday (which is why I took Guilds of London off his hands), so may I please have his Food Chain Magnate slot? (Cheeky, I know, but it's a game I've wanted to try for some time.)

Andy speaks the truth. I will be tramping around the pony-infested wilds of Dartmoor next week. Maybe I'll catch FCM next time.

Ah, cool. I'm sure there will be a next time. So for Food Chain Magnate:
1) Meurig
2) PaulyG
3) Lizzy
4) Andy
Looking forward to it!

Re: Tuesday 21st June
Are you bringing Guilds of London, Andy? And are you playing Baseball Highlights: 2045, Karl? If yes and yes, I'm in and in. I'm guessing less than 90 mins each, based on the BGG time plus rules explanation. Both are pretty well loved games, from what I can see. Who else is playing?

I am bringing Guilds of London, but only to return it to Aneurin, not to play it (not that I don't want to play it, but I'll be playing Food Chain Magnate this week). But at any rate, yes, it will be in the building.

Aneurin won't be able to make it on Tuesday, so unless you don't mind carrying it back home again, don't bring it along!

Sam, I'll be bringing and playing Baseball Highlights. Room for 4 if we go with a tournament format or individual head to heads.

Re: Tuesday 21st June
Cool, looking forward to it. Don't think I'll read the rules this time: I tried it once at the Expo and it made me want to go home. I'll rely on your explanation
Andy, if you're still okay to bring the game but don't want to take it home I'll hold onto it for Aneurin. I'll check this is okay with him.
Anyone have the TV series version of the Game of Throne card game? I really want to try Game of Thrones: The Card Game 2nd Edition, but not sure if I'll like it, and the core set is supposed to be crap for playing on its own, so I'm hoping the TV series version will at least give me a decent idea of how it plays.

If its not too long can always do both
Re: Tuesday 21st June
Who had that Ice Cool game? Was it the clubs? Wouldn't mind giving that a go, whenever it sees the light of day again. Also, it would make a great Christmas party game.

Great! Have you played it much? What do you think? Ha, now I want to fit in all three of these games in next week! How late do you stay on Tuesdays? Or maybe we could come to the club early? Or leave it for another week.

I've checked with Aneurin, he's okay for me to hold onto Guilds of London if you don't want to, Andy. Let me know if you're still bringing it and I'll make a list of players.

I'm happy to bring it, Sam, and happy to take it back home with me afterward (in fact, would like to do so if that's okay ). Played it with my OH this weekend. As I was setting it up and trying to explain the rules, she was grumpily skeptical, not at all keen, but by the end, she'd enjoyed it tremendously, as did I. At the end of the game she immediately mentioned wanting to purchase it for our own collection eventually.
Anyway, I'll bring it along and I'm happy to take it back with me or pass it on to someone else, whatever Aneurin prefers. We'll talk about it on the day!

I'll play Guilds of London if there's a space for me?
