April 21st Birthday Board Games
It's my birthday on Easter Monday so I thought I'd see if I can organise a gaming day. Probably in the Dev Cat, that worked fine last time, but I'll see how we do with numbers.
Anyone up for it?

Definitely up for it, can't confirm until I've asked Her Ladyship what my plans are for Easter Monday though! :-)

Have a great holiday Evan! The rest of you, glad to hear you can make it
Paul, I wouldn't bother with anything too hardcore. I think we're better off with many shorter games as people will probably be in and out. It'd be good if someone could bring Bang and maybe Rampage? I'll see who else is coming and have a think.

That's great guys. I've booked some tables and they've confirmed they're doing proper food again so we're all set.
Paul - I just spotted Escape on your list. Is that an option? I've not played it but heard it's fun. It has a soundtrack though doesn't it? Not sure if it's pub friendly...

It does have a sound track, but you can use a sand timer so is pub friendly. Probably best to have one non-player to act as the time keeper as it's easy to not notice when the time is up.
It's frantic and raucous but great fun. Expect some funny looks from the other patrons. :-)
