Could I tempt anyone with a game of Samurai?

I'll be bringing 504 if anyone is up for it

I've not played world 123 yet which supposedly is the opening world so I think we should play that.

This is a quick overview of the rules World 123 rules I won't have played it - just be aware that we will all be learning how to play the game - pretty much will be the same every time it's played!

Sorry guys I down to continue my Twin Shadows Imperial assault campaign with Paul, Karl, Lizzy and Kes.

I'm down for some cardboard hexes and meeples in the Caribbean (aka Archipelago).

Normally I'd be all over this! Will be playing Archipelago though (which does have some similarities with Eclipse).

Sorry but I have to rescind this offer as I need to do boring adult house-buying things. On the plus side, we will have room for a larger table.

Sure thing - I think we'll try world 123 - basic rules are here world 123 rules - it'll be a learning game (as it will be every time you play)

I am a boardgames semi-enthusiast who has just moved back to Sheffield after a few years away and would like to join in your club, is it OK if I just pop along tonight? Can somebody confirm that you meet in The University Arms please? (The 'where and when we meet' is a bit old, but maybe that's because you haven't changed your ways since 2011).

I'd love to play Archipelago if there's room, played it once and loved it. Don't know what 504 is but I'll give anything a go, it would just be good to get to know the club I guess.

Hi John, welcome to the club

Uni Arms is indeed our home and folks will be there from about 1900 (odds are some will be their there earlier having some food too )

EDIT: Lousy sodding autocorrect.

Hi John, yes we meet at the Uni Arms at the University of Sheffield. Gaming starts at 7pm but often people meet around 6pm for food etc.

I got instantly tempted away by 504 instead. I'll be bringing Samurai along and you're welcome to have a go with it, although I may not get round to playing it myself.

Okay no probs, yeah I might if someone else fancies a game. I've never played before but I was thinking of picking it up. I'm a sucker for a Samurai.
