Tuesday 19th January

I'm going to be play-testing 'The Path to Panic' with Andy. It'd be great if we can get a full table to help Andy with the development of this very promising game so feel free to join us.

I'll be there, hoping to play another of my unplayed game - possibly Hoyuk or Train Heist...

I'm away in Portugal - doing science... or at least pretending to. Well unless it snows this weekend and I cannot get to Manchester. Enjoy.

Yes, I'm back with The Path to Panic next week.  Version 3.3 includes more story; locked doors; the influence of the Mistress of the Absent Path, which allows the Original Panicked player to do various unpleasant things; more story; a revamped Vince who can now lower his panic level by beating people up; memento items; an increased emphasis on the Strength statistic; and more story.

The game still plays from 4 to 6 players, and I'll still be joining in.  Despite Karl's flattering enthusiasm, I don't expect people to play unless they really want to.  Please come to SBGC and play whatever you feel like playing - if that means you'd like to help playtest The Path to Panic, you have my gratitude, but don't think of it as an obligation.

I know Andy M expressed an interest as well, so that tentatively leaves 3 open spots.  Thanks for your interest!

Gaaah! Five minutes after I posted this, my boss informed me that I'll have to work late next Tuesday. I'll still be coming to the club but I won't be there until 7.30 - 7.45ish.

Sorry to hear that, Tom. That said, you have played an earlier iteration and 7:30-7:45 isn't too late, so if we haven't started just yet and there's still a space available when you arrive, you're more than welcome to join. If it doesn't work out, don't fret - there will still be many more chances to play. I'll probably be bringing the game again on the 26th in fact, unless Tuesday's test results in more amendments than I am able to make in a week.

I'm planning on coming along next week and happy to play anything that's going.

I was bought Star Wars Armada a while back but am yet to play it. If anyone has another copy and fancies a game (i.e. teach me how to play properly) i appreciate it.

Otherwise I've played a lot of Castles of Burgundy if anyone wants to learn how to play that. It's pretty good.

Massive thanks to everyone who generously volunteered to playtest The Path to Panic this week, and subsequent tremendous apologies. I picked up a rather unpleasant bug at the weekend and although I'd hoped it'd be mostly cleared up by Tuesday, as ill as I feel now (Monday night) it is highly unlikely I will be attending tomorrow. At this point I plan to bring The Path to Panic for playtesting on the 26th instead, although I'll not say so for definite until I feel 100% fine; I don't want people to volunterr only for me to flake out on them again. Once again, very sorry, I hope everyone has a fun time gaming.
