Saturday 29th April - INTERNATIONAL TABLETOP DAY

Bit late to the party this year - but thinking about organising something for international tabletop day - The Uni Arms is booked - lets get some games played - family friendly - intro games to start cracking open the heavier games as the day progresses. It's a day about inclusion - that hot topic...

I'll bring my kids and some of their fun little games... Rhino Hero, Story Cubes, Pokemon, Animal upon Animal etc... maybe we will try the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Miniatures Game...

I'll probably be up for this again this year, though no Eclipse this time, I fly back from India Friday night, and I'm not sure my jetlagged addled brain will be up to anything complex

Dexter and I will either be in London or here - don't know which yet!

Kids are both off to scout camp... not sure what that means for my day yet... but If I'm around I'll definitely be down for some of the day...

OK so the Uni arms opens at midday and those wanting lunch - food is served until 4pm. We have the upstairs room as usual but treat this more as an open affair. If people pop up to play - great - if they just want to sit and use a table - also fine. Hopefully by being around others playing they will pick up a board and break it open. Or one of us can corrupt them with codenames.

I'll create some generic International Tabletop Day posters for this - showing people that we are upstairs and that they can pop up and play. Don't forget bring your families and friends. I should be there with the kids from midday playing all manner of dexterity based games.

You can also opt to play some crazy heavy euro if you want - no holds barred here.

I'm hoping to pop down for a bit in the afternoon but can't stay too late. Will bring a bunch of lighter, more family-friendly stuff with me.

No games for us, we're off to a football match.
No problem borrowing Coconuts, will bring it along tomorrow.

Hopefully I may be able to pop down for a few hours mid afternoon.
