Three Cranes Re-Opening
I passed the Three Cranes pub today (28 Feb) and noticed it has an "Under New Management - Opening Soon" sign. There was a contact number for the manager - Kevin on 07776 284 347.
I'm not suggesting we return there, but if there is club property still inside then Kevin is the man to call.

Re: Three Cranes Re-Opening
What are people's thoughts? I got the impression people preferred the Redhouse? Easier parking etc...
Re: Three Cranes Re-Opening
My thoughts on the venues we've been at recently:
It was a nice space at the Redhouse - and the Landlord was very welcoming to us. Parking was good - And it was warm! Looked like he had a good selection of beers on too.
Patriot Games - again very welcoming - again a good space - potential extra discount in their shop - but bloomin' freezing!! - Parking quite difficult also.
The 3 Cranes... nice big room - but so far not very reliable... (and a bit grotty) - of course new management could mean more positive changes...?? Parking not great. Not very warm in that upstairs room either.
So on balance I'm leaning towards The Redhouse... but ultimately happy to go anywhere that will have us!

Re: Three Cranes Re-Opening
Redhouse for me. PG is a good back-up, but lacks beer/heat, and feels a bit like I'm at a lunch-time club at school. Awesome shop/stock though.
Re: Three Cranes Re-Opening
I think the Redhouse, for all the above reasons. With regards to the boards, I've already spoken to the new manager and we can collect them when convenient to both sides. Just have to arrange with the car.
