Tuesday 12th Feb

Hi all, I'm presuming Tuesday will still be going ahead? I've bought a couple of games recently which I haven't played before - sector 6 and revolution! Was wondering if anyone has played them before, would like to play and would be up for running through the rules etc? I always learn better when playing rather than just reading the rules!

Yes, session is on. People more often just work it out on the night these days but some people still use this

My plan for the evening (Charterstone) has fallen through. I've got plans to play Baseball Highlights with Karl and then move onto some other stuff, Manhattan Project is one, and will bring some other unplayed stuff to try out...

I have no idea about the game but as it has the word "Sector" in it it must be fun so happy to give it a go

I enjoyed Baseball Highlights last night, enjoyed getting a feel for the game, and I'm looking forward to the conference session in a few weeks

The highlight of the night for me was Decrypto, a team-based word game that is very hard to describe without making your brain melt, but is actually very simple to play, it was terrific fun and plays pretty quick too, so would be a pretty good filler game. Already itching to play it again!

Sounds great, I couldn't make it yesterday but I'd love to give Decrypto a try some time.

Decrypto was my secret Santa. Cheers Santa. Haven't played it yet it happy to bring it down sometime. Read the rules a few times but for some reason I can't get my head round them.

A simple, and excellent, game that makes no sense as a rulebook. I thought I got it, then didn't. Then we played it and I did. Hurrah!

It's very definitely one of those games where the written rules are baffling, but when you sit down and start playing there's very quickly that "oooooooooh" moment and it all clicks - Mechanically it's actually extremely simple but the rules do a very good job of hiding it!
