XMAS PARTY - TUE 10th DECEMBER!!!!

Tuesday 10th December will be the club Xmas party (7pm-late) at the Redhouse. The idea is to build our own buffet which each member bringing a dish to add to the buffet. Then play some party style board games (bring something fun - Jon loves Dixit). There will be a competition and prizes to win.
 
Please indicate (by reply below) what food item (Sweet/Savoury) you intend to bring (No drinks obviously). Be as adventurous as you want - the list below is for guidance only. I will update this list accordingly. We could do with some staple food stuffs though... and maybe some crackers, plates and silly hats from the £1 shop! If we aim to roughly spend £4 to £5 each that should give us plenty...

I can bring lots of houmous, nice meats (beef bresola, Italian Speck, Salami etc.), a few nice cheeses.

I'll bring some different rye breads too. Ready chopped for dipping!

Bunch of wedges? Thought it would be good to have something hot

Also, Joel suggested bringing some chairs. Yesterday we were almost full so if we get more than that it might be a good idea

I'll email Jeff about the chair situation... if he can afford a barman on a Tuesday now he can afford some Ikea chairs

I will bring carrot sticks, celery and crisps. (a bunch of).

I can bring the pasta dish + a ton of paper plates, cups and plastic cutlery leftover from previous parties.

ok I will try to make a Xmas log....or an other dessert if I have less time available

if jeff can t sort out chairs for the 10th I can bring 4 as well as a camping table to put some of the food...

I'll bring along some Cakes - Also I have 4 (Maybe 6) foldable Ikea Chairs

I can put them in the back of the car

Not going to be able to make the festivities until later on but ill get there hopefully at some point in the night

Loks like I'll finally be able to get back along on the 10th - this whole new job business has me running around like crazy!

I'll grab sausage rolls and a bunch of other similar stuff (scotch eggs, cocktail sausages, that sort of thing)

I'd best commit to something or I'll never get anything done. I'll do ham sandwiches and egg sandwiches.

There's a chance that Caolan and I (aka Laura) won't make it after all... We should know this weekend about the status of guacamole.

I'll make some brie and cranberry pastry things.

Can I switch to bringing some Swiss Roll cake things and Golden Syrup and Jamaican Ginger Cakes?

Is there anything in particular missing that me and Steve can bring? If not we'll think of something!

Bit of a disaster at home - my oven blew up last night so looks like the hot Tex Mex is off the menu. I'll be hitting the supermarket to see what cold finger buffet goodness I can replace it with.
