Who wants to play something epic?

How Epic?

I'll be along on Tuesday with Takenoko - at least two people wanted a game of that last week.

What sort of epic do you have in mind Sam? I can't stay *too* late on Tuesday as I'm up early for work...

We'll be playing Eclipse but starting at 7 and would prefer people that have played before as it's fairly complex and we don't it to last all night.

Eclipse looks interesting allbeit rather heavy

I'd be up for a game sometime but not I think, tomorrow - definitely not if you want experienced players to keep the game speed up!

I'll leave Eclipse for another day...

I'll be bringing my latest acquisitions: Coup and Myrmes and will also be hoping to get in a game of Takenoko.

Yup, Battlestar Galactica sounds good. I wonder if I should watch a few episodes of the show before I play it. I'll read the rules anyhow. Who else is in?

You don't *need* to have watched the show but I think the background helps with the atmosphere a bit At the least if you can watch the Miniseries that kicked it off that should at least get you moving.

The base game is essentially playing season 1 of the show.

It can be quite a long game especially if there are new players involved (like a lot of Fantasy Flight stuff its quite complex and the rulebook could be a little clearer in places...)

Much as I'd be up for playing it some other time, I don't think I fancy it tomorrow - rather play through a few newer (to me) and shorter games

I'll also be down tomorrow, though not sure what time. John has asked me to bring a couple of games down from the club library.

I'll see what's on offer when I get there, depends on work.

Bsg has lots to do but the actual gane play is rather simple to pick up, though getting the stratagy might take a few attempts. We shall see who wants to play is welcome and I would also welcome thevxp since ive only done a few games, I think I have it down but a vet always helps... especially if there on my side :p

Me and Anthony up for Eclipse. We've both played once, so have some familiarity with the rules.

Not gonna make it down tonihgt now unfortunately apparently theres 'stuff to be done for xmas'   so my pass out has been revoked by the boss !

I've just about recovered from my glorious Eclipse victory! Really enjoyed it, thanks to Dave for bringing it down and everyone else for playing; I can see it becoming a firm favourite.

Look forward to seeing everyone's new games in January - we should organise an all-dayer early in January - Merry Christmas y'all.
