UK GAMES EXPO 2015

Hi All. Me, Kelly Dodds and Simon Kenny are going to UK Game Expo Friday to Sunday and really fancy organising a 9-player game of Eclipse. Anyone else from the club going to be in Brum and keen to play this fantastic game? Simon has all the expansions and extra bits.

Im missing it this year, Im even staying nearby at the time, as Im flying to Italy from Birmingham the Saturday morning...

However I'd be up for a game of eclipse any given Tuesday, I've not played, but it looks interesting.

I'm just going for the Saturday. I may well drive (if Jess isn't away with the car), is anyone else going to/from the Expo on the Saturday and want to share the petrol costs?

Is Kes still doing a clothes order for this?

So I'm going earlyish Saturday morning - coming back Sunday Tea-time - there's space in the car both ways if that fits into anyone's travel plans and they want a lift either way PM me!

OK, I went ahead and booked. For some reason, the cheapest room at ETAP hotel was a double with a bunkbed. So if anyone is still looking for accommodation, they are welcome to use the bunkbed. We can share costs but obviously I'll pay more because I get the double If two people still need somewhere to stay it'll work out really cheap for us all (£15 a night).

Also, PaulyG, could I get a lift down with you?

Can Gary and I get a lift with you both ways Paulyg? You're going Fri and back Sun? We can drive if we need more people driving.

Scratch that! I forgot, Gary will work on Friday, then drive down and meet me. He could give Kat a lift maybe? So could I get a lift down with you in the morning Paulyg, but not Gary. We can give 2 people a lift back on Sunday.

Yep, you can have a lift with me on the Friday morning. And Kat says a lift with Gary in the evening would be great if he doesn't mind.

So just to confirm... I've got Tom, Paula and myself in the car going down to Birmingham on Saturday morning.... and Tom, Paula, Kes and myself in the car coming back to Sheffield Sunday teatime.

I've booked myself in for a 4 hour rpg game for Sunday morning (It will be the first roleplaying game I've played since 1990!).... but apart from that and trying to get hold of one of the Asmodee goody bags, I've got no plans so far - I'll be in the open gaming area for most of it probably... I did enjoy trying out a few games in the playtest zone last year, so I might give that a look again...
