Re: Sat 11th April, The Red Deer, International Tabletop Day
I'll be there... I should have Zombicide season 3 if anyone fancies it... Or start another imperial assault campaign?
I should be there from midday. Also thinking of bringing the kids down for a bit for food and games while mommy shops... Will bring some child friendly games... Animal upon animal, hey that's my fish and go away monster...
I'll then drop them off back home and rejoin for the above 'adult' games if there is interest?

I'll be there and will bring a ridiculously large number of games (as I usually do to the Red Deer).Sam wrote:Booked! Who's coming? What're we playing?
Are we going to try to actively publicise it outside this group (so that it's not just like one of the Sunday sessions), register it on the Tabletop Day site, etc.? I suppose the only limitation is space, though I don't suppose the pub would be awfully concerned if we spill into downstairs if people are buying food and drink...
Re: Sat 11th April, The Red Deer, International Tabletop Day
Yes - Paul can you post it on their website - we should run it as a family friendly event... I can bring some old classic intro games...
Re: Sat 11th April, The Red Deer, International Tabletop Day
I have a pile of quick/fun/silly/light games which would suit kids & non-gamers alike, I'll start brushing up on the rules!

This is definitely a good excuse to convince non-gamers to give a board game a try. We could put out some flyers on the bar at the pub to encourage people to come up, or bring some games downstairs and do demos. And generally try and bring family and friends who don't usually come. Any other ideas?

Good idea... I can try and design something when I'm back...
Paul - any luck getting this on the Tabletop site?

I've got the event up there now!
You should be able to find it on the Tabletop Day site or you can just go to:
https://www.eventbrite.com/e/sheffield-board-games-club-tabletop-day-tickets-16442220123?aff=tabletopday%3Fnomo%3D1%3Fnomo%3D1%3Fnomo%3D1?nomo=1
I need to sort out getting the logo on there when I'm at a computer rather than on a phone. If anybody thinks I missed anything in the description then let me know and I'll update it.

I'm going to have to start a campaign to move either Jess' birthday or Tabletop Day. I can't have them clashing every year.

Season 3 has arrived!
Re: Sat 11th April, The Red Deer, International Tabletop Day
Is it a noon start? I should be around from Noon til about 1700. Would definitely be up for another Zombiecide game or try out Imperial Assault. Shall also bring some stuff.
Re: Sat 11th April, The Red Deer, International Tabletop Day
Yeah, we've got it all day from noon. I might not get there for 12 but will definitely be there before 1.

Paula and I will be coming along fairly early. We will be bringing only a couple of small games as we're going on to something else afterwards. Maybe Hanabi and Once Upon A Time.

Have a good tabletop day folks, I'd love to be there, but I'm already hosting an event at home.

Rather frustratingly Specter Ops shipped yesterday... on next working day delivery.
Would have liked to have that in time to play today

Spector Ops looks interesting Dave. Hope to get a spot on that game, if you play it on a Tuesday some time.

Confirmed, it's mine. No hurry to get it back, but if you could bring it to the club sometime I'd appreciate it
