Tuesday 12th May - @ The Harlequin
The redhouse isn't available on the 12th... So we are in search of a new venue...
Lizzie has secured us the back room at the Harlequin
Harlequin
108 Nursery Street
Sheffield S3 8GG
0114 275 8195
There is apparently plenty of free parking around there.
We are purchasing some smaller boards to play on for the evening. See you there.
Red deer? Harrison's? Uni arms? Scholar?
Open to ideas... Will send a global email once we have confirmed a place to play - bear in mind we won't have boards so smaller games would be best.
Cowboy Avalon anyone?

Despite obligations to play Caverna and Agricola: Farmers of the Moor I'm going to ignore them completely and play Russian Railroad with Joe and Ani, it may be their last week! Room for one more, we'll be trying the mini-expansion out too.

Boo! I would like to play but maybe I'll give some of the new people a run for their money. I have a few unplayed games - princes of Florence, Western Town, Cuba...
Anyone for any of those?
Or I could be convinced to carry on our Shadows of Brimstone campaign Evan?
Should I bring cowboy Avalon? It'll be mounted on foam board by next week.

I've optimised Eclipse. Could do a 3 or maybe 4 player game (would have to play very fast with 4, so maybe that's one for experienced players). Maybe best to leave it for another week though, with the venue being an unknown quantity.
Have to say, I quite like Aneurin's jail idea on Cowboy Avalon. Helps to keep the noise down at the table (even just the threat of it's use), and if you're good and it's used on you, do you think the person using it maybe evil? Does it make you look evil if you use it? It feels like a well nicely balanced mechanic. May have to borrow that one!

I'll take a Spartacus seat. Are we dressing as gladiators this week?

I'm definitely up for more Shadows of Brimstone.... but it's not a small table game!!
Re: Tuesday 12th May - @ The Harlequin
I'll be MIA again this week (holiday this time). Look forward to the sandal and toga photos ;-)

Evan and I will be running a Zombicide - plenty of room for more people.
Re: Tuesday 12th May - @ The Harlequin
2*2 tile map we will be fine...
I also have my poker table that can hold the 3*3 map...

I wouldn't mind playing something new (will leave Eclipse for next week, when we have more space). What's on offer? Really want to try Spector-Ops. Zombie killing could be fun too.

I'm up for zombiecide if it's doable.
Definately try Cowvalon again as I was playing Eight minute empire, which was very good, so missed the start.

I am partial to the Zombicide games with smaller maps.... however I will be picking up two 3'x3' boards from B&Q this weekend to bring with me on Tuesday... so where are we going to do it then? I liked the Scholar... that was the biggest space of those that were mentioned I think? - But I don't mind really....

Apart from getting a parking ticket there, I quite liked the Scholar too. Especially the chip butties.

Plenty of zombicide season 3 room...
We are currently looking at Harrison's for its proximity to the red house... The scholar is on the list of possibles should that not be available. Again when we have a confirmed venue I'll post here.

Re: Tuesday 12th May - @ The Harlequin
Harrison's function room is booked but the main bar will be free. Doesn't give us too much room but it's there if we want it.
