Elder sign - thoughts
I've been offered a copy of elder sign from a friend who is moving house and clearing out a few bits and pieces.
Question is while I can find out what the game consists of - has anyone here got any experience of what the game play is like?
I'm not normally one to turn down free stuff but I've got a room full of junk already so don't want to add to the pile if there's a reason not to!

I've played it once, i quite enjoyed it, definitely worth picking up, its dice based ( and much lighter ) than the arkham horror / eldritch horror... for a good idea, it was covered on Tabletop..

Ha, thanks! My googling failed to check videos.
Will speak to him later about it, any other thoughts appreciated.

I quite like Elder Sign, and it's equally a game that you can play solo if you're into that sort of thing. It's a little bit like a cooperative King of Tokyo, I suppose, in that you're shooting for particular dice results and there's a push your luck element.
BUT! I hardly ever play my physical copy of it. In my opinion, the electronic version is far better as it's quicker, less fiddly and has a bit more variety of missions. There are some rules differences, too, so it's not a completely straight port.
I'd probably suggest taking it for free as it's a pretty decent game (if you like co-ops) but I do find the physical board game a little fiddly for what it is. I don't know if that helps...

I've played it a lot on the iPad. It's good.

Have thanked him and passed. Spent 2 quid on the iPad version instead.
Cheers for the feedback
