I have no idea, I was just being facetious! I suspect there's an attendant on weekends.

I think it's safe to say Dex had a great time yesterday. He has, this morning, presented me with a list of the games I "need to buy" at the expo!

Ha, good to hear Paul!
Yesterday was really fun, lots of great games and nice to see some new faces and the next generation of gamers.
Do you think the game of Eclipse is still going on?

Re: International Tabletop Day - 30th April
I really enjoyed Eclipse, it did go on a bit though, I was exhausted for the evening session (still, managed to squeeze a couple of games of Avalon in).
Having played with them twice now; I'm not sure how I feel about formal full-blown alliances in Eclipse. I'm wondering if it would be better without, and just having diplomacy (as per the base game) and informal alliances, like you'd get in Risk or Twilight Imperium 3 (where you're temporary allies, because it suits the both of you, for now).
This time there were 2 alliances, of 3 players each. You almost felt like you could do with time away from the table, to have a mini war conference with your allies, out of ear-shot of the enemy! Anyhow, no dirty rotten scumbag broke away from their respective alliance, and in the end, it was Carl, me and Mike's alliance that won the day. Yay! Go Team Flare!
Hope the game wasn't too overwhelming for some of the newer players. There's quite a bit to Eclipse, and you have to line your ducks up just right, in order to thrive. May have been an idea to just used the humans; then there wouldn't have been so many variables to contend with.
Anyhow, hope everyone enjoyed it, and thanks everyone for playing!

I was unable to make it yesterday because of pre-existing plans, but it sounds like it went well. I'm glad people enjoyed themselves.

Does one of them involve throwing coconuts?
Re: International Tabletop Day - 30th April
It does, another involves heroic Rhinoceroses and another, the most coveted, concerns flicking wooden disks at Evan (though that may not be the actual object of the game).
