Thursday 24th March - AVALON THURSDAYS!

I imagine upstairs in the Uni Arms will suit us better Andy. I'll be there from 7:30 (or maybe a little before), I think Nick said 7:30 too. Feel free to turn up before then, just be aware, not sure who else will be around if you get there at 6 Andy.

Looking forwards to it. Got to play The Resistance last night, with The Plot Thickens cards, makes a nice change from the normal Avalon.

Not that I'm aware of Dave; I didn't think it would be a problem though, as we're a small group. Can't see any harm in contacting Danny though, just to check there are no issues.

So "normally" the room is used by open mike night on a Thursday but Danny seems to think it won't be on this week due to Easter holidays (for students). So it sounds like we can use the room but we might want a back up plan in case....

I suggest bringing any hidden role games you fancy playing? I'd enjoy some variety mixed in, for one.

So - uni arms upstairs at 7.30, and if we're unlucky and there's an open mic night the back up plan can be walking down the hill (15 mins) to my place. If anyone is planning on coming late, send me a pm and I'll give you my phone in case we end up moving.

I will be there tonight, though later than I originally said - probably around 7. Looking forward to finally trying Avalon. Had a dream last night that I was Merlin and accidentally revealed my role to everyone in the first round. The game had to be abandoned. I left the building with my head hung in shame and swore never to play Avalon again.

Hopefully it won't go quite that badly tonight.

Funnily enough the first time I played The Resistance the spies screwed up badly - they weren't quite paying enough attention and high-fived each other after scoring their second lost mission... at the end of round 4.

Yeah, enjoyed it!

An interesting role-set in that last game. Thinking about it, Good Lancelot could have just outed Mordred (me); doing do would reduce the Merlin pool by 1 (bad for team good), however, it would have confirmed Good Lancelot as being good, and Mordred as being evil (very good for team good).
