I'm getting increasingly confused about this whole situation. The way BoJo the clown and company are going on it's like they didn't actually want to leave the EU. It's almost as if they were a bunch of small children screaming and stamping their feet for sweets but when they get what they want they decide they wanted something else after all.

I want us to just get on with it now, trigger Article 50 and be done with it. Cameron should have triggered it for them and then resigned. It's an absolute shambles. Even the Labour Party can't hold it together.

I spent the weekend moving through almost every negative emotion. Beginning with disbelief that >50% of my countrymen could be bigoted, gullible or stupid enough to believe that THIS was the right time for a protest vote. Moving through anger, disillusionment and shame for ever taking pride in my nationality.

To your point, Ste, I don't think BJ or Gove ever expected or even planned to win, they were attempting to push it close to destabilise Cameron and create a perfect platform for BJ to step in and save the day. He would "have" to stay in the EU as that is what the country decided, but he would tackle the obvious issues that the Leave vote exposed and would use the "almost leave vote" as a stick with which to bully the EU. By resigning, Cameron has now called BJs bluff - he created the problem, he can fix it. 

The way I see it, one of two things will happen now. 1) Instability within the financial and political world will force a general election (at which point it's anybody's guess what that will bring.) Or, 2) once the tory leadership is decided, Article 50 will be triggered but Britain will negotiate to remain within the EEA, accepting free movement and paying into the EU budget. The amount paid to EU will be considerably less (which Boris will hail a great victory) but we will receive significantly less funding back from the EU. As a result, the affluent areas of the UK will flourish, but the areas that rely upon EU help, ironically some of the areas that most vehemently voted Leave, will decline.

As an addendum, I believe the vote will be good for Europe in the long run. The shockwaves generated will encourage the EU to introspectively analyse themselves and what will emerge will be an EU that is less bureaucratic and more focused on cooperation. It's a shame we probably won't be a part of it.

The Outpost have risen their prices on certain product lines, citing the fall in strength of the pound as the reason.

Liz, Kes, you'll be sad to learn that X-Wing is one the product lines affected. Looks like they still offer their 20% discount but have increased the RRP by about 12%.

I can fully understand the reasoning behind it, here's hoping the pound recovers quickly and the prices go back down.

Yeah, I was talking to Eric at Wargames last week and he's expecting prices to go up about 10% across the board

Doubt they will ever come back down even if the £ regains ground.

That's up to them, but they'll lose my custom if that turns out to be the case. I probably wouldn't be the only one. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now. There's no denying the devaluation of the pound I guess.

This was a generic comment not based on just the outpost... We will see prices rise across the board... we will still buy at the inflated price (addiction) so why ever drop it?

Whilst I agree that future savings due to currency recovery probably won't be passed fully to the consumer, I would expect pricing to improve to some extent when (if!) the pound recovers. Otherwise there will come a point when importing games will be significantly cheaper to the extent that people will be willing to wait a couple of weeks to get their hands on the game rather than pay significantly more for them.

My bad! Thought you were referring to the Outpost specifically! Wasn't sure if you had had a bad experience with them or something.
